Clearing stumps normally means renting a walk-behind machine or paying a crew. This attachment turns the tractor you already own into a stump grinder. Power is taken directly from the PTO through a slip clutch shaft, so there is far less hydraulic plumbing to maintain, while two hydraulic cylinders still give you full control over the cutting wheel angle. Sixteen replaceable carbide teeth grind through hardwood and softwood stumps to 12 inches below grade, and the 20-degree swing in each direction lets you sweep across a stump without moving the tractor. A kickstand, greaseable pins and bushings, hoses, and couplers are included.
Note: two hydraulic auxiliary ports are required to operate both cylinders.
